We are a single form entry school near to Queenstown Road, Battersea. Last year, we had a big Eco Drive in school and created a school garden area and set up a Green Team. We even won "Most Improved Garden"! The Green Team help to maintain the garden, along with Year 4 who are the key class involved with the project.

In the acadamic year 2012 - 2013 the Sprouts project is being overseen by the horticultural group 14-19 age group and brought to the whole school community from governors to office staff and all classes by community gardening sessions. So far three sessions have attracted a mixture of staff and students to the cold weather to plant seed potatoes.

We are a two form entry school near to Clapham Junction Station.
We are lucky to have a headteacher who is keen to develop our school garden.
This year, we have bought some chickens to add to the enjoyment of the garden. The children take it in turns to clean the chickens hut and feed them.
Being an inner city school, we feel the children have learnt many new skills by having the chickens with us!
We are also lucky enough to have Jane, who volunteers to support the children in the garden and comes in to work on the garden during school holidays. We couldn't keep it up without her and her expertise!

Things are finally taking shape in our new allotments. We have had lots of fun sowing seeds and nurturing young plants. Now we are beginning to plant out. Can't wait to see how the plants grow.

I’d like to introduce you to St. George’s CE Primary – a small, friendly school right here in Battersea. We provide a calm, secure and successful learning environment for children aged 3–11 of all backgrounds and abilities. We know every child and we nurture them to be happy and motivated to do well. Building on our strong moral foundations, we set very high standards in everything we do. But most of all, St. George’s is a place that children and their families really enjoy coming to each day. I hope to welcome you here soon.”
