The improvement in the weather has meant that we have been very busy planting on the plot. The early, mid season, late and perpetual strawberries seem to have converged and are all producin flowers at the same time.

The children have been saving their cardboard insides from toilet rolls  we were saving for the allotment so I could use them to plant the leeks, giving them a head start. The idea of using the cardboard insides is so we can pick them up...

few weeks back, we planted the garlic cloves. I have noticed that a few have come through and the rest have yet to join in. I hope to get some good bulbs from this years crop. I tried to grow them last winter and had no success, sadly.
